Our Story

White Rock community is referred to as “Tse’ligai” is a Certified Chapter which operates using Local Governance Act and Alternative Form of Government. It is one of the 31 Navajo Nation Chapters within Eastern Navajo Agency.

The Chapter’s mission is to provide effective and efficient local government which preserves traditional culture and heritage, promotes community and economic development, encourages educational opportunities, and seeks and obtains sustainable resources in the best interest of the community and the members.

White Rock Chapter is located in an isolated area, approximately 28 miles north of Crownpoint and approximately 55 miles south of Farmington, New Mexico.

Direction:  Take County Road 8890 (dirt road) off Highway 371; Drive on CR 8890 for about 6 miles to reach White Rock Chapter. 

White Rock Local Government has active organizations which includes the Veterans Organization and Zoning Committee. 

White Rock Chapter compound consist of structures including several warehouses, a laundromat, a Veteran’s building, and a Baptist Church.
